Hi, I've lurked here for a while and gained some useful information. Many thanks already.
Just taken the plunge, and I have a "mint, like new" K10D with 18-55 lens on its way to me.
I have an "approval" period, so want to check it out throughly as soon as it arrives (obviously). Is there anything in particular I should be looking for that might not be obvious, what I mean is are there any common faults that a K10D might have, or anything that might be a tell-tale sign something is wrong (or about to go wrong)? I haven't found anything much on the web so either I haven't looked hard enough, or there are no faults with this camera
One of the things I intend to check is the number of shots taken - is this in the EXIF info, and what's the best (free?) software for checking this. (Or another method of checking if it isn't in the EXIF).
Thanks for your time....

All - this will be my first Pentax (previously a Canon FD user :roll - any "common faults" I should be looking out for?
Thanks,
Mark.
