But if you can go to two... DA 20-40mm (WR) with a DFA 100mm (WR) might be a nice combo (or swap the DFA 100mm for the 55-300mm HD WR and you have a massive range covered).

Sure the Pentax is not f2.8 but I would imagine in every other department it is hard to beat (?)
And then the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 is half the price of both those...

Obviously primes will be better IQ, such as DFA 100mm or DA* 200 both f2.8... but it seems the Tamron is no slouch... the only negatives I can see of the Tamron are its size/weight and no WR

So the 77mm would surely be in contention if I plugged the gap... but... then I wouldn't want the DA* 55mm to not be used... its such a good lens and WR... so I suspect it'll remain a gap for some time
This 70mm is a very good deal for someone though
