I am beginner but would like a external flash for my *IST DS.
1) I don't know the difference between TTL and P-TTL ? explanations ?
2) I saw that Pentax has two the 360 and the 550 (from memory), ans sigma has one one also (EF500)... how to choose. The purpose of the flash is first to take portrait indoor, and second outdoor photos.
Thanks a lot
Christophe

I am interested to make some macro photos. I already have a 28-80 with a macro position and i'd like to go further without buying a real macro lens.
My question is: is there a close up lens from Pentax or other supplier that could be directly "screwed" on the lens (58mm) or do I need another system , if yes: which one ??
Thanks
Christophe

I though it was more complexe than just reading the manual
sorry

Could someone tell me if one can change the AF on a IST DS. I mean, rather than having a 16 spots measurements, can one have a one or 2 or... x spots measurement possibility.
Don't sure I am clear
Thanks

I am using the photoshop element v2 and I am actually using the *IST-DS in raw mode, right.

I have a IST-DS and use the pentax software to see my pictures. However, I would find interesting to have a batch process to "derawtise" images. It exists with other derawtizer but to my knowledge not with the pentax browser or pentax lab softwares. Am I wrong : is there an update planned in this way soon
