Morning Steve

All 3 are good, but #2 stands out for that little bit extra cos of the contrasting colours.

Well shot

Thanks Steve

The birds were so fast moving from cover to feeder I had to use continuous and select the best of the sequence, generally it was pick one from three or poss four.

I'd tried it on a prev visit handheld but there was no way of following the bird or selecting which one would land on which feeder as there was 4 feeders for the birds to choose from.

I set the camera up on a tripod with a wider view than required and watched the action over the camera and pressed the shutter button when it looked like a bird would make the move to the feeder. These are a decent crop as the lens was a 70/200 F2.8 as the light wasn't brilliant, when the light improves I will try the 150/450

150 images shot for 15 in total I was pleased with, so a 10% success rate

Wonderful use of a great find ! (what's in that feeder??)
Don't know, but it was attracting Great Tit's, Robins, Sparrows and Bull Finches but not Gold Finches as they constantly went to another feeder

A few from the hide @ Heligan, been a few times and decided to give this a go, these blighters are super quick making the transition from the cover of the bushes to the feeders, picked a feeder to focus on that wasn't the typical round thingy with a tube.

All K3iii with DFA* 70 - 200 @ f5.6 ish - ISO 1600 as the light wasn't great, 1/1600th sec
