i seem to remember there is a little button on the front of the camera that will reset the mirror, you'll need a pen tip to press the button.

As for the 40mm, depending what camera you use it on, it might make the camera a bit awkward to hold as you can't support the camera properly, or as you usually would. Having not used one I can't really say!
The MX arrived yesterday, so i think i bought it monday, once i saw it listed that was it - didn't even think about not buying it!Nice When did you get that then?
