In a "me to" world it was nice to see something different, anyway, loving all the comments - anything but indifference

The big problem with opening the door to all other brands is the amount of non or former Pentax owners you then invite to post derogatory comments. I've seen this before where a once friendly and informative forum breaks down into a mine is better than yours shooting match and many posts degenerate into verbal diatribe. Just my opinion, but I understand why the rule is in place.

Thank's for the welcome John, I uploaded an image of my pooch (Dexter) to the gallery, hand held, indoors under fluorescent lighting, ISO 1600 - amazing (well, to me anyway)

Hello all,

I've been lurking for a while gathering information on the Pentax Q. Thanks to all who who actually own this camera and took the trouble to post information about it - your enthusiasm helped me in deciding to buy one. I'm still getting to know it but I am very happy so far!

Regards

Mark
