Super shot, it encapsulates Northumberland. Ever since my first visit I've thought of Northumberland as "the big sky county".

Currently watching the same clouds fly past from my sick bed. Thanks for a gorgeous picture.

I had a black Mk1 Mex, it was a bit special.

Thanks for the comments, I was actually out taking pictures at the end of the local airstrip, but thought I'd grab a shot of the car whilst waiting for the next plane to land. The 50-135 came up trumps again and enhanced the very pleasing lighting.
Yes Malc, it's well loved and cared for, but driven equally hard too - I've worn the sump guard away

What event was it? Car looks great, I used to enjoy watching the works versions hustled through the forests on old RAC's.

Nice shot, shame you can't capture the sound in a still picture!

Nice, mono works well, but my memory of forges (had to learn the art as an apprentice) was all bright yellow and orange and sparks and heat. Would like to see the original with the subject de-emphasised and the hot bits emphasised.

I love the way the lines draw you into the colours.

Lovely shot. I don't go up to the castle very often. Spend most of my time around the harbour.

I rode it from east to west! One of many occasions when I really should have died, going between a parked tipper and a car going east, giving me a gap of 3 feet and me still doing about 30 miles per hour. On the day we did it it was raining and the cloud was on the tops. Nice to see what it actually looks like.
