I am currently using a Pentax MX with several M type manual focus lenses.

Will these lenses work with the newer Pentax cameras such as the *ist, ZX-L, ZX-7, ZX-60 and such? I realize they will not autofocus.

I'm currently using a Pentax MX with several fixed focal lenth lenses. I'm interested in using some sort of zoom lens up to 300mm for auto racing photos. Wondering how well the 28-300 zoom performs. Can't afford top end equipment, so budget is an issue. Would consider all brands or focal lenths up to 300mm. Any comments?
