Hello
Thank you for your advice. I have listed the stuff on Ebay now and just hope there is some interest in it as it is all in really excellent working condition.
I was going to put a link on this post to the camera and bits in case anyone here was interested but I wasn't sure if that kind of thing was allowed.
Thanks again

Hello,
I hope that someone might be able to help me - and I hope I have posted in the right place. My step father asked me if I could put his Asahi Pentax camera and lenses on ebay for him. I don't really know how much this stuff is worth so was hoping that I might get some advice from here, as I know that all the equipment is extremely well looked after and in really excellent condition and would hate to let it go on ebay for less than it is worth.
He gave me the following:
Asahi Pentax Spotmatic II camera with 1:1.4/50 lens
The camera manual, Takumar Interchangeable lenses operating manual
Another Asahi lens 1:3.5/135 with leather carry case
Sigma-XQ mirror ultra telephoto 1:8 f=500mm in leather box and the manual
1.35v mercury replacement battery - brand new in original packaging.
If anybody could give me any advice on possible, and if more information about any of it is needed please let me know via here or [email protected] if you prefer.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Anna, I'd probably add the following to your listings:
For the camera stick a line in the description explaining what lens is included, otherwise you'll just get lots of people asking you to confirm.
If it's not too late to change the headings then on the 135 lens add the word "Pentax" to the front and the words "M42" & "screw mount" to the end - you can probably lose the word "interchangeable" to make room. This will provide you with a better spread of key words for when people make searches of listings.
Similarly, with the Sigma listing I'd replace "1:8" with "f8", drop the "f=" from the front of 500mm, drop the word "and" and use the space you've just freed up to add the words "M42" and/or "Pentax". Same reasons as above, these are the terms people are more likely to search for.
I hope you get a good price for them all anyway, good luck!
Thank you ever so much for your help - it is very kind of you. I have made the suggested changes. As you can guess this is not a subject I know very much about!
Thanks again .
Anna
