Thanks a lot for the advice. I'm loving the camera and have also had some great pics even at ISo 4000 plus.
I've recently been using tav with auto Iso and have been setting shutter speed to give me a blur free photo (1/90 sometimes ok but 1/125 better). That's for a "pose". Moving subjects obviously a bit faster shutter speed.
The issue I've had is focusing - I have the standard matte screen and I can focus the 28mm lenses ok when kids are static (all my lenses apart from kit lens are manual focus). A slight movement of the subject though before taking the shot and it's out. This is where I thought autofocus on af-c might help.
I've been trying out the kit lens on 35mm with af-c and it seems to focus well indoors with no flash.
I'll check out your we page
Thanks for the advice though - these forums are great

I do have the chinon 50mm 1.7 and it's great. I also have a clubman 28mm 2.8 (quite like that focal length) and a vivitar "A" 28mm f2.8.
I really like the manual lenses but im after a fast focus good low light prime for family pics indoors without flash (kids running round etc). The price of the da35 2.4 is great and everyone seems to love it.

Just upgraded from a canon eos100d to a k5 and wow - its wonderful. Also am able to use a few old k mount lenses from my fathers old chinon camera which is great.
If anyone has one for sale (or knows anyone who is selling one) I really want a da35 f2.4.
Regards
Dan
