My interest in photography began in high school in 1981 where I co-founded a camera club, shot, developed and printed in black and white. This continued in university where I shot for the yearbook and also at concert events, both on and off campus, while working for the university radio station's Stage Crew..

I had the fortune to be able to travel extensively through Europe in 1991 during a four year gap in my studies and put together an extensive portfolio of landscape and architectural photos. After working for several years in the photo retail trade industry I was recruited by Pentax Canada where I served Southwestern Ontario as a Territory Manager from 1997 - 2016.
