Greetings from Prince Edward Isalnd, Canada
I just joined this group recently. I am going to get back into photography as I gear down to retirement this year.
I have been a Pentax owner for many years.
I have a SP500 and SP1000 with various screw mount lens. I was too stubborn trade up to K series. I have not usedt hem for a while
These two cameras still take great pictures and are solid.
I also have an Espio 200 which takes excellent pictures even at the full extension of the lens and is very compact to pack in a suitcase. I use it a lot.
I bought my first digital last May, the Optio 430RS and am enjoying digital.
I will not move to only digital for a while. As long as I can stll buy 35 mm film I will use both.
I have found good information on this sight already and I am glad I found it.

I know that this is a silly question or answer but it could be the battery.

I had my film camera, Pentax Espio 200 so I could still shoot.
Moral: Attach to wrist and keep in case until ready to shoot.
