I got the XR Rikenon today...
IT is a beautiful lens! I love how it looks and feels, and the details are just fantastic!
The all-metal feel, the retractable metal hood, the feel of the aperture ring... It looks awesome on my K7!

I will post a picture "Out of the camera" just to see what I mean.

And I WILL get the CZJ too
Too hard to decide which one, so I will get that one too.

Unfortunately I have not seen the MC version on our used camera market... Just the Zebra and the older all-silver one. I will get one of those soon!

Hi there!

I am in somewhat of a dillema...

I have the option to purchase one of two primes, used but in good condition:

1. XR Rikenon 135/2.8 (K mount)
2. Sonnar 135/3.5 Carl Zeiss Jena (M42)(Not the MC one, is the older, zebra-like version)

Each seem to have benefits, and the greatest is that the Ricoh is half the price of the CZJ.

If you were to get one, which would you get and why?
