Thanks John and Gary, the tighter crop in the first was because she has band-aids on the knee and he was kicking his feet around. The blanket was just on hand but will take a bit of time and thought next time. Great to have this forum and the input from other members to help improve.Lovely images of the children, maybe a darker blanket would have been better. The one you have used is very bright and a bit distracting.

Grabbed some quick shots of the Grandkids yesterday, was a bit rushed, just threw a blanket up and put the seat down, placed the kids in the seat and-----got about 5 shots before young Jayce fell over

I would go the 300 f4, if you want the extra length get a 1.4 converter, cant beat that DA 300 IMHO.
