Is that really the first b&w entry? Surprising.
Yes the mist sometimes gracefully hides what we don't like to see. If you hadn't told us that we are overlooking a landfill site I at least wouldn't have guessed.
It's a nice landscape shot and the sun is doing it's best to light up the wafts of mist (and it is putting some nice reflections on the TV aerials.
The roofs in the lower left are one big black area, which usually is not a good thing. Here I think you get away with it somehow. The things that bug me more is the power lines (though I appreciate that the inhabitants of the houses are happy to have them).
For a shot from the loft window, though, it is top drawer!
