Superb picture

Not noticed this here... but the hoverflies haven't really started moving yet... it has been too damn cold... we had over 20mm of rain yesterday afternoon and evening and haven't yet been able to get a spud in the ground.

For more French wildlife just north of the Creuse visit our blog... Aigronne Valley Wildlife and Loire Valley Nature [a friends' blog]...

And, on all things Pentax... my wife bought me a pair of Pentax Papillio 8.5x binos for my birthday last week... haven't really put them down yet. Superb bit of kit... heartily recommended!!

Lovely shot .. i'd be tempted to print that one .. though not sure an A2 fly on the wall would attract visitors
