What is so good about this shot is it is instantly recognizable as a Yew.

Lovely detail in the bark texture and the colour is wonderful. I think the leaf at the top is a bit distracting, have you thought of cropping or cloning it out?

Larry, there are two sorts of people 'yew and non-yew'. Without a doubt, You are 'Yew'.

David, I agree about the leaf but as the shot was a comment on the tree rather than a stand alone study, I didn't bother to spend time on it. Glad you like the colours though, I was expecting Larry to suggest a B&W conversion.
