Personally I think I prefer this in B&W rather than colour.

This looks dramatic in black and white although I'm sure the colour version would also have looked good. You've captured good detail throughout and the sky patterns are wonderful. But one small point: Is that flare or a strangely shaped cloud just to the top right of centre?

Your clouds are always right there in the midst of things rather than hanging around in the background. Are you using a filter to bring out the contrast or have you just picked days with really dramatic clouds?

will get round to posting colour version; Paul i'm blushing! ; some HDR using redynamix (no suprises there then); Yes it's flare - I only spotted it after posting The clouds are usually just luck, though the 10/20 does help a lot- I don't get out that much to pick and choose
