Whoops missed the sunset

by Stu-D

I took this on the way home. The sunset beforehand was lovely but I just couldn't get there in time.

It's taken from Millerground on Lake Windermere this evening. I am suprised I didn't see other togs there packing up, although there are better locations in fairness.

The time afterwards is often better than the real thing.

Enchanting afterglow light, a beckoning and immersive gentle dynamic to this Bravo!

A nice shot, maybe you could try a dawn shot?

Thanks for all your nice comments.

I have done a small number of dawn shots Peter and prefer the results. And it's lovely to be out in the freshness of the morning, but I can't quite face the early alarm call. Particularly this time of year! Funnily enough the last time I tried was at the same location, but the Lake was choppy and it was a waste of time!
