On the 'mountain road' above Prenteg, last week.
On the original image, in the distance centre of the image, I can see the modern quarry beside the Porthmadog by-pass which (if you view large) you can see running slightly diagonally, centre shot.
However, the purpose of the shot was the farm !

Travelling this mountain road, which also includes the visit to Llyn Cwmystradllyn, is one of the highlights whenever we visit the area. We first found it 40 years ago and it is still unspoilt. Thankfully, since it is a narrow single track road there are very few other vehicles using it !
