Thank you for that, it's actually a composite image... of the three fire parts, each barrel and the lighting taper were on different exposures.

The shots were taken from more less the same position... just getting the timing right to capture the flares was the difficult bit. I think I took about ten exposures in total, to get the three required for this shot..

The real trick is keeping the end resultant image believable i.e. you wouldn't know unless I told you, that it wasn't a single take.

The rest is just down to the magic of Photoshop.
