I read they will be flying together here and there for a short period. I've never forgotten when I was 13, got to enter the UK Lanc and sit in the rear gun turret. It must have been quite terrifying in combat.

The BBMF Lancaster is in the markings of Thumper III which I understand was operated by 617 Sqn and flew 50 sorties. The Canadian Lancaster had the registration VR-A and is often know as Vera. In the picture the BBMF Lancaster is leading.
