This is street photography at its best, and nobody comments!

I like the dynamic energy in this capture. The irony of the adversarial pose is that he would see his adversary as 'evil' but he might antagonise someone in his challenge. I had to haul a friend off an evangelist with a loud hailer when all the man wanted was to save his soul! You could compose a good portfolio from photos of 'street preachers'. There is a tension here which works well because of the depth of field and the inclusion of the foreground observer.

Best wishes,
David

I don't know about 'at it's best' Paul, but I appreciate the comment. Thanks David and Mary too. Now I look at it again it looks a bit dark, or is it just me?

I have to say, although the pose is adversarial, this guy is actually really friendly (if slightly unhinged) and loudly proclaims his love (in a Christian sense - or at least - I hope!) for passers by.
