Lizard found while removing stones. Pentax *ist DL2 with 28-80 zoom lens set at 31mm, 1/180th sec at f4.5 with a close up +4 lens fitted.

Good shot of a lovely creature which, I believe, is a newt!
Hiding under damp stones sounds about right for this little chap &, if it had been a lizard, I don't think you'd have seen his tail for dust!!
