Chinese Lantern

This is a focus stack of 9 images of this very interesting flower, which grows in my garden and I have shot a number of times. Here the orange skin of the flower has disintegrated leaving the skeleton and the seed showing through.

The focus stack produced a technically superior vision of architectural and geometric forms combining with sharp, defined colors, creating a lyrical harmonious whole. Gallery Wall worthy. - t

Oh it is, it is - do try it. Half of this one would have been blurred out of focus without it. As it is, this absolutely perfect image appears.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
