Right Angle Falls

by PeterMac

This is what we kayakers call right angle falls on the River Etive which runs south from the head of Glencoe in Argyll. We were meant to be going skiing, but on arrival at Glencoe, the rain was teaming down and a LOT of snow had melted overnight. We decided to go and visit a few locations with our cameras instead. So, not a wasted day, and in all of my visits (mostly kayaking the river, including Right Angle Falls) i'd never seen this much water in the river.

To give a sense of scale, that waterfall is around 30ft high.
