Bronze Age Vessel

This is a simulation of the oldest open sea vessel found at the bottom of the sea accross Uluburun, Kaş, Turkey in 1982. Hundreds of archaeologists from various countries made 22400 dives to the depths of 40-60 meters to excavate the original which sank 3300 years ago in the Bronze Age. The main load of the vessel consisted of 10 tons of copper ignots and a ton of tin, glass, some articles made of ivory, Nefertiti's seal, ostrich eggs and hundreds of Amphoras. The making of the simulation depended on some archaeological finds, pictures and articles. After being used for demonstrative puposes, it is now displayed in Urla Bay, where archaeologists from Ankara University are working to clean the ancient port of Klazumenai under the sea.

This is a nice shot, Nezih. I like the lights and the shadows of it.
