Monschau

by pauljay

No comments about the verticals needed, just posted to depict our first visit to Monschau yesterday. Delightful town but one gets the impression that it exists purely for the tourists!

The verticals look OK to me, but then, I've just finished a bottle of red. It's the water that's got me bothered. Right down the middle! I'd prefer either the buildings, or the water to be the main focal point.

i like this photo but yet would have gone with the building i agree with sam i think it should be the left side of the pink building with just some of the water on the right and the building at the back left in as well
but it is a good photo
playing firm but fair all the way

I was aiming to get as many of the buildings into the frame as possible as they represent the character of the town. However, thanks for the comments - taken on board.
Hope you enjoyed the red S-J!

i love this picture, especially the building on the left! i also like the way the river brings you into the photo. makes me want to have a coffee in the restaurant on the right despite being 5000 miles away! good job!
