The Youngest Spotter

Shot in RAW on a K10d with Sigma 10-20mm lens and converted to JPEG this was taken last year in the National Railway Museum at York. I picked the biggest locomotive on display and waited for the right figure to come past. It turned out to be a tiny child. When I entered this picture in a competition at Durham Photographic Society the judge liked the engine's bright red wheels but said I should cropped the child off. Judges!!!

I don't believe that he could have missed the point, it must have been a pretext, David. The child adds so much to the photo which is absolutelty great.
