I'm very happy with my new D FA 100 Macro.

As I was, & am, with mine, Callumj!

I took a similar picture with mine; try zooming-in on the eye, in the original size: it's absolutely amazing!!1

It is nice and sharp. Did you use a ring flash?

Thanks for the comments. I used a camera mounted Metz 48.

Crisp and sharp with good detail. you make macro look easy! I have a PENTAX-DA 35mm F2.8 Macro which I love and purchased at a very good price. However, have learnt that I need more focal length. I am thinking about the Pentax 100mm f2.8 SMC D-FA WR Macro Lens. Do you have any experience of this lens? I know it is slightly more expensive but have not found any reviews on it, anyone else have any experience of this lens in question.

I don't have any experience of the WR version, looks pretty though, and much more robust than mine. I managed to get one of the Currys £299 DA 100 macros and to be honest if I was asked to pay more than that I would have probably went for the Tammy 90 or Sigma 105, the pentax seems quite plasticy for the full asking price.
