It was shot with on the Pentax K-1 camera a Lensbaby Composer (the oldest version, predating the pro and pro II) with the Double Glass optic, wide open, that is without an aperture ring dropped in - which is essentially like using a spot-soft filter on a a lens that's not too sharp wide open, but that can tilt and shift to move the spot (centre of sharpness) around (I put it on the butterfly). RAW files generally need some work with these lenses, to get the desired contrast and coulours, but not too much (I did it in DCU5).
