Took this one morning last month when the sky was a bit cloudy. A nice clear patch appeared to let a little light into the scene.

Just the right amount of 'blur' to the water IMO. Very pleasing to the eye.

Great choice of shutter speed. Between 1 and 2 secs always works well for retreating water on a beach!

Lovely composition too!

Thanks all, it's a bit hitty missy (sp) whether you get good patterns in the water to help the composition. I usually take about 20 shots before I get one I'm happy with. One of the many benefits of digital.

Great use of visual mass and flow to draw the eyes deep into this coastal vista. Excellent work
