More toadstools .... Duh!
These are brittlestems of some sort and were attached to the base of this garden stake.

Yes, the "Taks" are not ready for oblivion just yet. I have a couple and they don't disappoint.

They certainly don't disappoint. Takumars are heartily recommended to all - the M42 threaded versions anyway. They reused the name in a series of cheapo lenses in K mount that are nowhere near as good. If you have never used manual focus glass then this is the way to go for good experiences.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
