Early opening

I did a dawn raid on a local woodland beauty spot today. Lovely light, but I think I was too early for the waterlilies that were only just starting to open.

The lotus' sculptural quality, particularly at this stage of its daily "flowering", is a wonder of the floral world. Add to that the subtle light you caught so convincingly, and LIKE is a no-brainer.
