Very nice rendition. That is such a good combination - right up there with the K3 and the DA*300, really. I should know I've had both!

Many thanks.
I just looked at your bird shots...wow!!
I have been using m4/3 camera with 100-300 lens with some ok results and was going to sell my Pentax gear but took my K30 with me for a break into mid Wales and got some nice shots. I now have a problem. . I have a little money come my way and am tempted by the k3 with da300 and maybe 1.4 tele or Sigma 150-500 but cannot make my mind up . I would welcome any thoughts you have on this .
Thanks.
Dave.

Well shot - the 55-300 is unbelievable for IQ when the cost is considered. I have the 150-500, it's a great lens but I don' think it could challenge the DA*300 plus a Pentax 1.4TC for image quality.

Many thanks for your thoughts the only thing is I am not sure about using a long prime lens as I may miss some bird shots because they move around so much .
Decisions to make
Dave.
