been having a go at water shots.
not sure how to lighten them without losing contrast though. Any thoughts?

put coloured card behind and bounce flash or light off card to light and colour the water / drop,if a glass dish is used try white card under it as well. you should be able to boost levels/ contrast etc in pp if required.
some thing multi coloured instead of single colour card will give an even better effect
a good early attempt.

Nicely in focus, though.
Had a go at this myself, but really struggled with balancing DoF and shutter speed to get decent focus.
Getting there! Thanks to you guys
