V for Victory

Ex RAF Victor at the old RAF Elvington outside York in the UK. Does occasional engine runs but sadly not when I was there. A really interesting place to visit, plenty of history.

If you trawl U tube you will find one where it inadvertently took off during a charge down the runway!
Apparently, the 2nd pilot, who was supposed to close the throttles froze and the thing just carried on accellerating.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Actually that was the Victor based at Bruntingthorpe and it happened during one of the `fast taxi` days they have there - it is an amazing video though.
