Hello Ronnie, this shot taken with K-5ii, prime focus T2 mounted, on Celestron Nexstar 4se telescope which has a 1325mm focal length f/13, square(ish) crop,

Thanks for this information, Chris. I guess the telescope opens up new horizons, but I suspect that the photo is more to do with experience and skill than just gear.
Some day, when I live further from city lights, I will treat myself to a telescope like that!

I have tried and not got anywhere near your standard. Can I ask you for Exif detail, ISO 400, 1/125 sec, F?, and which lens, please?
