Cornish Mining History

Photo Information
This shot was taken on my pentax compact, the large metal lump you see is a copper tumbler used whilst this mine was open in the early part of the century at Devon great consoles, its now used as a downhill mountainbiking venue, but its a lovely place to snap away in.

thankyou, the sky had some work, and so i lost detail in the branches, but i love the shot, and for a little compact you can't complain, good little camera really.

I like shooting at devon great consoles, as it's a very different landscape to most other places in cornwall, the copper slip is great for a baron prehistoric look. another similar place is roche near newquay, which has the light blue lime pools and slag hills dotted around the area.

Great shot with a compact.

Excellent subject and wonderful BW photo. It looks like a gigantic instrument of torture but I presume its part of a stone crusher, is it?
