Walk in the Snow

by Nigelk

Yesterday lunch time we had a good layer of snow and the sun was peeping through the clouds. "I'll go for a walk with my Camera" I thought. My walk around the village soon turned to an expedition as it started snowing heavily. No problem, I was wrapped up well and I'd got a weather sealed camera and lens. I was able to enjoy getting some snowing pictures despite me and the camera being caked in snow. At one point I looked through the view finder and thought "What's going on here" My lens hood had a quarter filled with snow as I walked along. Anyhow, I had a great walk and enjoyed my photography in these challenging conditions.

And you brought home a beauty. I hear Lara's theme playing in my head, even. Like.

It's not very often we get conditions like this in our part of the UK. Good to get out and grab some shots.

Lovely shot.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
