Fieldmouse

by PeterKR

On the way to the lake at West Green House I first looked through the formal garden. Something moving on the path caught my eye - a tiny fieldmouse. I bent down to take a photo and it was quite unperturbed. It stopped them moved on to the flower bed where it found a leave to have a nibble on. Since this mouse was less than 1inch long this shot is almost a 'macro' !

An opportunity well grabbed - envy - envy !

Many thanks for your all comments.
I did feel especially lucky to see this tiny mouse so just 'fired away before it scurried off.
However, it didn't seem at all worried by my presence so after this (the last shot) I left it in peace to enjoy the leaf.

Thanks again
Peter
