RIP Wren

In a way it's quite a bizarre shot, but also very powerful to my eye and worthy of views and comments. We don't see many like this, probably the subject matter is not appealing but I think this is a great image.

thanks david much appreciated - it is slightly macabre but lots of beauty in this one
the small stones are bits of salt because of the oncoming frosts and ice
they look like little gems that the wren requested before its demise
