Nuthatch

Photo Information
Having problems with the colour cast for some reason. Taken in the shade but ended up with a bad green cast on the photos. Any ideas how to prevent this in the capture process?
I'd appreciate feed back on how this looks to you. Thanks.

White balance?

Roger.

Tried adjusting the white balance Roger. Looking like it could've been the back light creating some bad colour reflections. Cheers.

You ought to be able to do something with the manual white balance? I thought the bird looked an odd colour in the last shot. With pictures like these, the colour cast is forgiveable !

Do nuthatches modify their nesting holes? It looks like this one has been deliberately made smaller by plastering it up with mud.

Cheers David. The last shot was posted then I was going to delete as it looked bad.
I went in search of this hole as woodpeckers created it and used it last year, so I was curious as to what would use it this year. The Nuthatch's have reduced the hole size, comparing the shots to last years, like you thought.
