Nice shot. I've been meaning to travel to Broughton to see these for a while. Airbus have just announced their replacement is under development...even bigger!

It's a well crafted shot of one of the oddest and ugliest aircraft I have ever seen. It always amazes me that those tiny wings offer enough lift to get it off the ground, but obviously they do!
Best regards, John

have a walk alongside the famous Elbe river, from Hamburg-Flottbek towards Blankenese, .. you'll probly see one just over your head, .. cause Airbus airport is just near opposite side of the river, .. impressive a craft indeed; .. remarkable take here

Thanks all. Looks like a Thunderbird. Not an expert but... by all accounts, they put aircraft wings in racks to transport from the continent over to Blighty. Named after the Beluga Whale.

The wings you refer to are built in the UK! Never thought of wings or a fuselage as being parts! I'm afraid an aviation enthusiast would not be impressed with this shot as it is not centered or filling the frame! Yep, us aerosexuals be strange folk!
