Classic and iconic shot, well taken

I nearly passed this by, Larry. I attribute it to the problems caused by small thumbnails and their lack of impact. It is, as you suggest, a wonderful image and deserving of a wider audience.

Many thanks for your kind words. We visited on a long route home between Bournemouth and London and it was worth the diversion. The area is closed at night so this had to be taken between a chain linked fence which is never ideal.
If you are ever passing by definitely pay a visit, a quite magnificent place.

Perfect composition, well taken shot. I particularly like its colour-monochrome effect and the beautiful silhouettes.
