The Long Goodbye

The Long Goodbye

Photo Information
I have renamed this image on the advice of 'her who must be obeyed'.
There are two figures in the top of the image (take my word for it). I photographed this particular scene from the same position many times throughout one year. It is a track leading to a large manor house and estate. I have only recently learned that my Great, Great Grandfather worked as the Gamekeeper for the Lord of the Manor.

I lived nearby for 7 years, but only discovered this family connection after I relocated. I decided to bring the image out of the archives.

Oops. Please accept my apologies.
I've just noticed this image was taken with my Fuji digital camera (I bought that whilst waiting for Pentax to release the istd DSLR).

Having been a Pentax guy since 1973? with the ESII slr I was waiting for the digital system.

I do hope this is permitted to remain in the Gallery.

I'lol let you off this once
A beautiful autumnal lane, I love the story connecting you to this scene, strange how things come around.
With the beauty of the iPad i stretched this and was able to make out the two people in the distance

It's a fine shot - even for a Fuji!
