Like your photo and your description not sure that the bar or whatever it is at the bottom of the picture helps

You are quite right sarc - it adds nothing to the picture! It was meant to show the proximity of grapes to my fence. Unfortunately being rather short I could not create enough space beneath the bunch to avoid a tight crop. (I can't quite reach the grapes either)
