Red Sails

Red Sails

Photo Information
Another from the recent Cornwall trip, this one taken from Looe beach on the K3 with the DA17-70. Prior to this holiday - the 17-70 was my least favourite lens but after forcing myself to leave it on the camera - have to say I am starting to warm to it and it works much better if used daily (no lazy SDM issues).

Lovely shot Carl - dramatic lighting to go with it!
re the DA17-70; its my most used lens. Mine needed its AF board changing about 18months ago and that removed the hunting at 70mm issue that this model was prone to.

Almost an ethereal feel to this lovely shot.
Best wishes,

Super shot... simplified colour palette, great light and unified subject matter...

Nice one - favourite lens or not
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
