I see the exif data shows f6 how did it get down to that as mine is only f6.3 at 500mm.

Dunno where the f6 has come from Howard? It was f/8 at 1/125th 400ISO which is also in the exif

Whoever wrote the board software has put the f6 bit in?
It possibly means maximum aperture of the lens and hasn't picked it up right.
