There's an element missing from this shot but I'm not quite sure what it is. A little more contrast perhaps? That gap between the trees lower left is certainly disturbing and could probably have been removed by taking a couple of paces to the left.

Nevertheless, what a gorgeous view - just a pity we haven't been told anything about it!

This is a compelling image and as MAc says its like an illustration from a fairy tale. Pauljay talks of the missing element, its corny but a figure in the far distance might have helped but I don't think its essential. The shapes of the trees are interesting enough on their own. As for HD - that would ruin it.

I think it's a really interesting scene and quite a nice composition. It's very flat and washed out looking, though and would really benefit from some PP.

Its called the Dark Hedges, think it's in Antrim. Excellent shot, I drove down there last year and thought I'd been transported to Middle Earth.
